This piece was created for a multimedia art and performance event inspired by the FCC’s proposal to allow further consolidation of media outlets. For this piece Diana and I collaged Britney Spears’ portrait using printed public comments on the FCC’s media ownership proposals (downloadable from the FCC website). Out of 100 comments printed, only 3 (all from corporate lawyers) actually approved of the FCC’s proposed rule changes.
